The engineer will focus on infrastructure automation, container orchestration, environment management, and platform performance. Required Technical SkillsInfrastructure as Code using Terraform or AWS CDKStrong knowledge of AWS IAM, networking, and security groupsContainerization with Docker and orchestration using ECS with Fargate or EKSCI/CD pipeline development with GitHub Actions, including promotion across dev, stage, and prod environments and artifact managementExperience with PostgreSQL (pgvector preferred) or a managed vector database solutionMonitoring and observability using CloudWatch and OpenTelemetry, including structured logging and distributed tracingAuthentication and authorization using OIDC with an enterprise identity provider or API gateway (experience with Okta or Microsoft Entra is preferred)Core ResponsibilitiesEstablish and maintain AWS landing zone components, including secrets management and environment promotion workflowsImplement and support automated integrations such as GitHub webhook processing for indexing and downstream servicesDefine and manage logging, metrics, alerting, and cost optimization strategies, along with operational runbooksCreate performance benchmarks and develop load testing frameworks to validate platform scalability and reliability
