Integration Engineer
Overview
In this role you help deliver end-to-end mission solutions by crafting program and project integration across the enterprise. You collaborate with systems engineers, solutions architects, and developers to ensure interoperable applications and systems. You will implement ICDs and operational procedures to support timely mission success. You work on a wide range of networks and data management efforts, shaping how hardware and software meet critical national security needs. This position offers mission-focused work in a collaborative, results-driven environment.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop or assist in building integration solutions across the enterprise and define interface requirementsCollaborate with systems engineers, solutions architects, and programmers to ensure interoperability of applications and systemsImplement Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and related plans to enable timely mission accomplishmentProvide a total systems perspective on hardware/software dependencies and requirementsSupport solution planning, implementation approaches, and documentation for total systems or subsystems using internal or COTS productsAnalyze, design, test, and evaluate network systems including Cloud Resident computing, satellite networks, LANs/WANs, Internet, intranetsContribute to data management practices treating data as a resourceAssist Government in managing system development efforts, moves, or modernization including IT and cloud requirements and network security measures
Key requirementsActive TS/SCI clearance with PolyBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, MIS, or related STEM field, or equivalent experience as an Integration Engineer5–10 years of experience with at least 5 years in the Intelligence CommunityExperience in government or industry in database management or Big Data analysisModel Based Systems Engineering (described as desired)integration engineeringdata managementcloud and network technologies (LAN/WAN, satellite networks)ICD implementationsystem-of-systems thinking
