Southfield, Michigan High-Quality NICU Flexible Nights Long-Term Coverage Seeking an experienced Neonatologist to provide locum tenens night coverage in a well-established Level III NICU. This is an ongoing opportunity through December 2026 with a collegial team and manageable census ideal for providers looking for consistent, flexible shifts. Assignment Highlights Coverage Dates: March 24, 2026 December 31, 2026Shifts: 4 6 nights per monthSchedule: 7:00 PM 7:00 AM (in-house)Immediate Dates Needed:3/24 3/28 3/31 4/3 NICU Snapshot Level III NICU 15 BedsAverage Census: 12 patients/dayAdmissions: 0 4 per dayTrauma Level: IIIEMR: Cerner / eCare / PowerChartSupportive Group:3 Full-Time Neonatologists2 Part-Time4 Contingent Providers Clinical Responsibilities Attend C-sectionsManage neonatal transfersNo Well-Baby Nursery coverageBalanced acuity with strong team support Candidate Requirements Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in NeonatologyFellowship-Trained in NeonatologyActive Michigan medical license (license in hand)Recent experience (within last 3 months) in a Level III or IV NICUBLS & NRP certifiedClean backgroundLocal providers preferred (mileage reimbursed)Self-Query NPDB (within 30 days) required at submission Credentialing & Notes Credentialing Timeline: daysUrgent need temporary providers requestedMileage reimbursement only Why This Opportunity?
