Overview:This is a new position that will report to the CEO of a multi-entity life sciences platform. The platform includes a parent company that has been operational for over 25 years. It is a GMP peptide manufacturer and CDMO operating at the intersection of commercial peptide manufacturing, personalized cancer therapeutics, and emerging future consumer peptide markets.This role operates in close partnership with the CEO, who retains ownership of investor relations, strategic vision, and high-stakes external partnerships. The COO is accountable for all operational execution, ensuring the business runs efficiently, scales effectively, and delivers on the strategy the CEO sets.The President and COO is the operational leader of the entire platform of companies.Responsibilities:Lead end-to-end partnership deal execution, including structuring templates, negotiating and closing terms, and overseeing post-close operational integration in close collaboration with General Counsel and the Chief of Staff. Serve as the integrating leader for clinical program accountability. Ensure cross-functional alignment and program continuity, and evaluate organizational need for a dedicated VP of Clinical Operations as the portfolio scales. Own the consolidated operational P&L across all business lines, partnering with the Financial Controller to produce board-ready reporting and financial analysis. Lead the organizational buildout of the Stealth Company from 5 to 25+ people, directly managing a VP of Brand, BD Director, Program Manager, and IT Admin. Define the operating model: org structure, decision rights, KPIs, meeting cadences, and SOPs—creating the foundation for a high-performing, scalable team. Develop and implement a comprehensive operational playbook from inception, establishing the processes, decision frameworks, and cross-functional workflows required to drive consistent execution and organizational stability through a period of rapid growth and transition. Requirements:15+ years of progressive operational leadership experience within biotech, pharma, specialty pharma, or health-tech organizations?Proven executive leadership experience as a President, COO, SVP Operations, or equivalent within a Series A–C company, ideally in the $10M–$100M revenue range?Demonstrated success in building, scaling, and leading cross-functional teams across manufacturing, clinical, commercial, and regulatory functions. Experience structuring and executing strategic partnerships, M&A initiatives, operational diligence, term sheet negotiations, and equity transactions. Strong background operating within FDA-regulated environments,Full P&L ownership experience for a $10M+ business unit or organization?Entrepreneurial, builder-oriented mindset with a track record of creating operational infrastructure and scalable processes within high-growth organizations. Compensation:This role offers a competitive base salary in the range of $350,000– $450,000 plus a 30% bonus opportunity and equity in the form of stock options.
