PGS Worldwide is seeking an Electronics Assembler in Oldsmar, FL for a one-year contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company.The Electronics Assembler will perform hands-on electronic and mechanical assembly work, with a strong focus on soldering wires to terminals and printed circuit boards. This role supports production assembly, rework, quality checks, continuity testing, and prototype or experimental assembly work using drawings, diagrams, hand tools, and power tools.Required SkillsExperience soldering wires to terminals and printed circuit boards.Ability to perform electronic and/or mechanical production assembly operations.Ability to assemble modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, cables, and related subassemblies.Ability to work from diagrams, drawings, specifications, and layouts.Experience using hand tools and/or power tools.Ability to make continuity checks on work in process and completed assemblies.Ability to conduct quality inspections in accordance with quality specifications.Ability to disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test assemblies and subassemblies.Ability to read and write English.Ability to take and pass a required medical exam.Preferred SkillsExperience with PCB assembly, wire soldering, terminal soldering, cable assembly, electronic assembly, mechanical assembly, continuity testing, rework, inspection, prototype assembly, and production manufacturing.Experience working with experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies.Experience testing assemblies under simulated conditions.What You'll DoSolder wires to terminals and printed circuit boards.Perform repetitive and non-repetitive production assembly operations.Assemble electronic and mechanical assemblies and subassemblies.Work from diagrams, drawings, layouts, and specifications.Use hand tools and power tools to complete assembly tasks.Make continuity checks during production and on completed work.Conduct quality inspections on the processing line as required.Disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test assemblies and subassemblies.Support experimental or prototype assembly work according to specifications and simulated conditions.Work Schedule / ShiftMonday–Thursday.5:00 AM–3:30 PM EST.Job ID: 21417Military veterans and transitioning military members are encouraged to apply to all PGS Worldwide positions.
