Bookkeeper Opportunity A well-established financial management firm is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join their team. This firm specializes in providing comprehensive financial services to high-net-worth individuals, including entertainers, athletes, and entrepreneurs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping and a commitment to maintaining accurate financial records. Key Responsibilities Record and maintain daily financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established accounting principles. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including processing invoices, payments, and collections. Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts on a regular basis to ensure consistency and accuracy. Prepare financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements, for internal use and client review. Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. Process payroll, including calculating wages, withholding taxes, and issuing payments. Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records and documentation. Collaborate with other team members to support various financial management services offered by the firm. Qualifications Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum of 2-3 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably within a business-services environment. Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms. Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial record-keeping. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle sensitive financial information with confidentiality and integrity. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Preferred Skills Experience working with high-net-worth clients or within the entertainment, sports, or related industries. Familiarity with tax preparation and planning. Knowledge of payroll processing and related tax filings.
