Travel RN - Med/Surg Tele

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a MS/Tele (Neuro Telemetry) position at a Level II Trauma Center, requiring Epic proficiency and a TX or compact RN license.Job Details• Short-term acute care hospital setting with 379 staffed beds, designated as a Level II Trauma Center,• MS/Tele unit with a neuro telemetry focus,• Patient ratio of 1:4,• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00-07:00),• Weekend requirement: 6 weekend shifts per scheduling period,• Floating between all facilities within the state is expected and required,• No on-call responsibilities,• Epic EMR experience required,Job Requirements• Active TX or compact RN license required,• Current BLS certification required,• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required,• Neuro telemetry nursing experience required,• Epic EMR proficiency required,• At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting required for consideration,• SSN and DOB required for consideration,Additional Information• First-time travelers and nurses with 1 year of experience are welcome to apply,• Licensed nursing personnel (RN, LVN) are required to wear solid navy blue scrubs; print tops are not acceptable,• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility,• RTO is expected to be minimal; a high volume of time-off requests may affect the position,• Any RTO or scheduling requests must be submitted upfront, as post-offer requests may be denied
