Fantastic OB/GYN Opportunity – Waterbury, ConnecticutWe are seeking aBE or BC OB/GYN physicianto join our thriving practice in Waterbury, CT. Our group includes four physicians and one midwife, with weekend cross-coverage provided by other local groups. This is a very busy practice, so a new OB/GYN would start with a full patient panel, providing a balanced mix of obstetrics and gynecology.Responsibilities:Provide medical care related to pregnancy and the female reproductive systemExamine patients and obtain medical historiesScreen for breast, cervical, and ovarian cancersDeliver babies vaginally or via cesarean sectionTreat urinary tract and pelvic disorders, hormonal disorders, and sexually transmitted diseasesOrder, perform, and interpret diagnostic testsCreate treatment plans and initiate appropriate referrals to specialists and hospital programsEnsure timely, accurate, and complete patient documentationCollaborate with Practice Management to ensure proper billing and coding compliancePromote wellness and health educationRobotic training is a plus, but not requiredParticipate in on-call coverage with other OB/GYN providersProvide quality supervision of Medical Assistants (MAs), Nurse Practitioners (NPs), Physician Assistants (PAs), and other clinical staff at the siteThis position comes with generous compensation and benefits, offering an excellent opportunity to join a supportive, high-volume, and collaborative OB/GYN practice.UConn Health Community Network Medical Group offers comprehensive outpatient care with opportunities for clinical growth, academic collaboration, and professional development.
