If you love the auto industry and working with cars this job is for you!The Assembler is responsible for the assembling of light duty truck and van equipment.Essential Job Functions and Duties:Locate, unbox and assemble various aftermarket, steel and aluminum truck and van equipment; this includes shelving, ladder racks, partitions and other equipment.Assist the install technicians as neededRead and follow basic mechanical instructions and do so in accordance with company standard operating proceduresComplete other duties as assigned.Position Qualifications and Entrance Requirements:High School Diploma or equivalent required; Vocational school a plusExperience with operating a Forklift preferredCandidates must successfully complete criminal background check and submit to a motor vehicle background checkSkills:Solid verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to lift heavy boxes/shelves/racksAbility to stand for most of the dayUse hand tools, cordless tools, cutting tools and pneumatic toolsSolid background in using basic mechanical skills ensuring solid comfort in using a variety of tools; not limited to saws, drills, utility knives, hand toolsComfortable in using tape measure and measuring accurately
