Job Description Position Title: OBGYN Physician, LaboristLocation: Greenwich, CTOverview:We are thrilled to present a remarkable opportunity for exceptional Laborists to become part of the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology & Reproductive Sciences within one of Connecticut's largest and most comprehensive healthcare systems. This organization is renowned for its advanced clinical care, commitment to quality, service excellence, cost-effectiveness, and dedication to enhancing the health of the communities it serves.As a member of our dedicated maternity care team, you will collaborate with board-certified physicians, nationally certified nurses, midwives, and specialists in high-risk pregnancies. Qualified Laborists will hold full-time positions at the Assistant Professor or Associate Professor level within the Academic Clinician track. Our medical team works closely with obstetricians, utilizing cutting-edge technology to ensure patient care in the Labor and Delivery Unit. Together, our experienced team of doctors and nurses brings nearly 2,600 new lives into the world annually!Qualifications:Board certified or eligible in general obstetrics and gynecologyExceptional surgical skills and proficiency in operative vaginal deliveriesProven track record of excellence in evidence-based obstetric care and educationExperience collaborating with certified nurse midwives, along with a keen interest in clinical research, is preferredWillingness to work 12-hour shifts (2-4 days per week)Experience in monitoring laboring patients and delivering unassigned patientsDemonstrated commitment to patient safetyStrong communication abilities with patients and attending physiciansFocus on patient safetyEducation and Training:Medical Degree: Must have completed an MD or DO from an accredited medical schoolResidency: Must have completed an accredited residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology
