School PsychologistLocation: Sonora, CA 95370Pay: $85–$95/hourSchedule: Full-time, school year assignmentSetting: District-based, in-personISO Workforce Alliance is partnering with a school district in Sonora, California to identify a qualified School Psychologist to support students ages 0–22 through psychoeducational assessment, consultation, intervention, and collaboration with school teams and families.This is an in-person role focused on assessment, IEP support, crisis response, and preventive mental health services within a special education framework.Role SummaryUnder the direction of the Director of Special Education, the School Psychologist provides psychoeducational evaluations, consultative services, counseling, and behavioral intervention support for students with learning, emotional, and adjustment needs. This role is a key member of the IEP and Educational Assessment teams.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct psychoeducational evaluations for referred students (ages 0–22)Prepare written evaluation reports covering cognitive, affective, and sensorimotor domainsParticipate as a member of IEP and Educational Assessment Service teamsProvide consultation to teachers, administrators, and familiesAssist in the development of behavior plans, instructional strategies, and intervention plansProvide short-term counseling and crisis intervention for students and familiesDeliver preventive mental health services such as classroom presentations and stress reduction programsParticipate in parent-teacher conferences and placement meetingsSupport ongoing re-evaluations in accordance with legal mandatesAssist in the development of Special Education policies and proceduresKnowledge & SkillsChild development and learning theoryAssessment tools and psychoeducational testing proceduresInstructional materials and intervention strategiesMulticultural considerations in assessment and service deliveryCore AbilitiesBuild positive relationships with students, families, and school staffIdentify learning strengths and areas of needDevelop appropriate instructional and behavioral interventionsAnalyze student data and translate findings into meaningful recommendationsJ-18808-Ljbffr
