Front Desk Staff

Job Description Greet and check in patients, visitors, and vendors professionally.Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments.Answer incoming phone calls and route messages appropriately.Verify patient demographics, insurance information, and contact details.Collect copays, deductibles, and outstanding balances.Assist patients with intake paperwork, consent forms, and other required documents.Maintain accurate patient records in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).Scan, upload, fax, file, and organize documents as needed.Send appointment reminders and follow up on missed appointments.Coordinate referrals and assist with provider scheduling needs.Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.Monitor and maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.Order and stock office supplies as needed.Communicate effectively with providers, billing staff, and other team members.Assist patients with general questions regarding services, scheduling, and office procedures.Recognize patients in crisis and immediately notify clinical staff.Follow clinic safety procedures and emergency protocols.Support daily administrative operations and special projects as assigned.Demonstrate professionalism, punctuality, reliability, and excellent customer service at all times.Maintain positive relationships with patients, families, referral sources, and staff. xmcpwfuAttend required staff meetings, trainings, and compliance updates.
