Sr Vehicle Operations Logistics Specialist - Non-Driver (Non-Auction)Job Scope: The Sr Vehicle Operations Specialist serves as the liaison between our clients/auctions/carriers and our teams in charge of delivering our capabilities (e.g.: Planners, Coordinators, Drivers, etc.). The Sr Client Operations Specialist is a subject matter expert and is intimately knowledgeable of our processes, capabilities, and client needs and expectations. This role is a heads-up, client/auction/carrier-facing role who acts as a portfolio manager and primary contact for operational execution. The Sr Client Operations Specialist is the first line of defense for escalations, exceptions, or general questions related to the delivery of our products and services. The Sr Client Operations Specialist is responsible for executing our operational strategy in the field and leveraging our tools, capabilities, and relationships to scale our business into new industry segments and service offerings.Key Responsibilities:Serve as an advocate for our clients, auctions, carriers, and all beneficiaries of our product and service offeringLeverage relationships across Logistics, BPOs, and CAI to exceed client expectations and deliver an exceptional client experienceResponsible for remediating issues and addressing all escalations in a timely and effective mannerWork closely with carriers, drivers, BPO partners, and team members to deliver on client SLAsLeverage tools, dashboards, and reports to create an exceptions-based approach to remediating out-of-compliance inventory and follow through to resolutionCommunicate effectively and clearly articulate client needs; collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team setting to collectively exceed client expectationsWork closely with our DHL Control Tower to ensure seamless connectivity between Planners/Coordinators and field-based team in support of delivery and executionPlay key role in requirements gathering and operational capability identification in new lines of business and delivery of new products and servicesPrepare, analyze, and present operational metrics and report for business reviews, operational performance reviews, and 'state of the business' discussionsAdvocate continuous improvement and provide feedback and input into processes and systems enhancements to optimize workflows and introduce efficiencyServe as the 'Go To' subject matter expert for your area of responsibility and book of businessQualifications :High School Diploma / GED required.5 years of experience in automotive industry and/or logistics field.Strong organizational skills and demonstrated capacity to develop and implement practical strategies, plans, and solutions to identify issues and problems.Track record of taking initiative in managing multiple priorities and to work effectively under pressure when facing extremely short deadlines.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Good judgment, discretion, tact and the ability to work easily at all levels within the organizationAbility to partner well with colleagues in a matrixed work environment.Ability to work independently and to undertake responsibilities with minimal guidance.Adapting approach and comfortable with ambiguity.Must be adept at handling complex situations and businesses.Work Environment:Occasional exposure to weather conditions, and noise.Compensation: Hourly base pay rate is $20.10 - $30.10/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities.
