Interpret 3D CAD models, blueprints, and technical data to determine tooling and set-up requirementsMonitor the production schedule and prepare tools, programs, and models for upcoming projectsUse CAM software to create offline programs and set up CNC machining centers with necessary fixtures and toolsOperate and adjust machines, ensuring proper settings for cutting depth, speed, and feed, while maintaining part qualityInspect parts, change tools, and troubleshoot or adjust machines as needed to ensure precision and conformance to specifications
The background of the successful candidate must include the following:
3 or more years of experience or apprenticeship operating CNC machines, manual mills and lathes is required to be consideredCompletion of a Registered Apprenticeship program or an A.S. degree in Machining or a closely related field would be a plusPay is up to $45/hourA solid work historyA US citizen or possess a green card
