Field Service TechnicianMaterial Handling & Plant ServicesRhino Tool House ServiceAbout the RoleWe're looking for a Field Service Technician to join our growing Service team. This role combines Material Handling equipment installs & inspections with Plant Services, including the installation of conveyors, lifts, carts, and CTEK equipment. Ideal for a machine builder with strong mechanical aptitude who is eager to learn and grow into advanced material handling and automation systems.What You'll DoInstall, assemble, and inspect material handling equipment (cranes, jib cranes, lifts, etc.)Install conveyors, carts, lifts, and other plant service equipmentTroubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systemsRead and interpret blueprints, schematics, and installation drawingsEnsure compliance with safety and quality standards on every jobDocument service reports and communicate with customers and internal teamsTravel regularly to customer sites (regional/national)What We're Looking For3+ years' experience as a machine builder, millwright, or service technicianStrong mechanical skills; ability to learn new equipment quicklyExperience with conveyors, lifts, carts, or cranes preferredBasic electrical/controls knowledge a plusValid driver's license; willingness to travel extensivelyStrong communication and customer service skills Why Rhino Tool House?Competitive pay & benefitsCareer growth in a fast-growing service businessTraining & certifications (OSHA, crane inspection, etc.) providedBe part of a team delivering solutions across Repair Centers, Material Handling, and Plant Services
