This is a local Lapeer-based company seeking a Braze Machine Operator. 1st shift available, Mon-Sat, 5:30AM-4:00PM, pay is $15-16.Job Description: Operation of a braze machine is an asset. Previous machine experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing environment is preferred. This position requires mechanical aptitude and ability to do math, measurements, and use of precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers). Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be looking for long-term work.Braze machine or similar experience with soldering to join two or more metal parts together by heating them to a temperature that melts the filler metal and causes it to flow into the joint.Job Responsibilities Requirements:Measure dimensions of finished work to ensure specifications are met.Read work orders and instructions for product specifications and materials.Calculate specific material, equipment, and labor requirements for production.High level of quality control.Must have excellent attendance.Must have some long-term previous work history.Must be able to work overtime.Must be able to stand at workstations for 10-12 hours if necessary.Some lifting may be required.HSD or GED required.Why work for Qualified Staffing?
