The ideal candidate will have experience in a professional baking environment, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality. This role involves early morning shifts to ensure our customers enjoy fresh baked goods daily.Key Responsibilities:• Production: Prepare and bake a variety of products, including breads, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods, following established recipes and techniques.• Recipe Development: Collaborate with the team to create and test new recipes, ensuring a diverse and appealing product lineup.• Quality Control: Monitor the quality of ingredients and finished products, making adjustments as necessary to maintain our standards.• Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels of baking ingredients and supplies, placing orders as needed to ensure uninterrupted production.• Equipment Maintenance: Operate, clean, and maintain baking equipment and tools, ensuring a safe and sanitary work environment.• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other bakers and kitchen staff to coordinate tasks and ensure timely completion of daily production schedules.Qualifications:• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of professional baking experience in a commercial or retail setting.• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a degree or certification in baking and pastry arts is preferred.• Skills:• Proficiency in baking techniques and recipe formulation.• Ability to operate commercial baking equipment safely and efficiently.• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products.• Excellent time management and organizational skills.• Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required.• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in a hot environment.Benefits:• Competitive salary based on experience.• Employee discounts on bakery products.• Opportunities for professional development and career advancement.
