Sales Account Executive - Tech

As an Account Executive in M2’s Technology division, you will focus on expanding M2’s customer base specific to our technology service offerings. This position will require you to cultivate new business opportunities through developing & managing a pipeline of prospects and opportunities. Not only will you seek new relationships and opportunities, but you will also have the opportunity to work with your M2 teammates to develop creative solutions and ensure successful implementation of your customer’s business. In this role, you will play a critical role in meeting M2’s future growth goals. You will have the opportunity to develop and implement comprehensive sales plans to include growth of your existing customer base as well as new sales strategies. M2 is looking for a team player who is highly energetic and motivated, has strong communication skills, is adaptable and organized, and has a strong desire to understand and fulfill customer needs. While this role does not require a full technical background, the successful candidate should have some level of technical skill in order to successfully explain and sell technology services. This role will be based at M2’s Corporate office in Green Bay, WI and may require 25-50% travel. Who is M2? The Position: Understand the full portfolio of M2 Technology service offerings, and be able to explain the value proposition for each service to customers that may have little to no technical background Develop sales strategies to grow M2’s service and financial performance Cultivate new customer relationships and uncover business opportunities through cold calling, email campaigns, and other prospecting activities Effectively use M2’s CRM to manage your customer information accurately Proactively engage with your existing customer base in order to identify growth opportunities Coordinate face-to-face meetings with potential clients and existing customers when appropriate Use critical thinking to determine other M2 resources that can be leveraged during a sales cycle Work with others at M2 to design and implement solutions that help customers solve their technology challenges Collaborate with M2's IT consultants to close the sale, then transition the account to the VP of IT who will ensure proper execution and exceptional customer service and support. Collaborate with Marketing to develop targeted marketing materials and campaigns Participate in forecasting and budgeting activities for the Technology division Comfortable engaging prospect in initial conversations regarding networking, security, hardware, and other technical aspects of our service offering Promote and maintain brand awareness by being active in the markets where you are selling (i.e. networking, community engagement, sponsorships, charity, etc.) and participating in local industry-related events Why Should You Apply?
