Quality Inspector II The Quality Inspector II plays a vital role in leading quality control activities within the distribution center, ensuring that all products meet established standards. The position requires investigating and documenting held finished goods, managing product holds and releases, completing rework tasks, and inspecting raw materials and finished products using various testing methods. The inspector records inspection results, determines product disposition, supports inventory accuracy, performs final product checks, and ensures adherence to all quality procedures and policies.Responsibilities Apply and remove product holds and manage Q?Tag activities.Inspect and repackage damaged inbound goods and determine product disposition with cross?functional partners.Operate material handling equipment and support inventory accuracy, adjustments, and recall?related tasks.Coordinate rework areas, resources, and daily quality projects.Maintain held?stock reporting and other documentation using SAP, Excel, and internal systems.Ensure compliance with SOPs, regulations, safety standards, and escalate non?conformances as needed.Perform in?process and final inspections, operate test equipment, and document all results.Identify defects, initiate non?conformance reports, and verify line start?up and equipment readiness.Collaborate with quality, production, and operations teams to improve efficiency and resolve issues.Review technical documents, manufacturing records, ECNs, and substitutions for accuracy and approval.Conduct line clearances, maintain required logs, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.Essential Skills InspectionQuality controlQuality assuranceQuality inspectionInventory controlCompliance managementWarehouse managementAdditional Skills & Qualifications High School diploma or equivalentAt least 1 year of quality control experience in a regulated industry settingProficiency in using powered warehouse equipmentAbility to read, write, speak, and understand EnglishStrong attention to detail, including the ability to read and understand labeling information, discern differences in similar products or packaging, and identify differences in character sequencesBasic math skills, including addition, subtraction, and fractional to decimal conversionsBasic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)Ability to work in hot and cold environmentsCapability to sit, walk, or stand for prolonged periods, with frequent twisting and bendingAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.Ability to prioritize quickly in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentBasic knowledge of quality regulations such as GMP, GDP, or 21CFR 820, 210-211Why Work Here? The work environment includes exposure to hot and cold conditions, requiring the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and involves periods of sitting, walking, or standing with frequent twisting and bending.Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Neptune, NJ.Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.75 - $28.50/hr.
