Senior Associate – Integration Engineer Location: 100% remote (East Coast preferred – Publicis Sapient office locations or Knoxville, TN)Duration: 6 months, through December 30, 2026, with potential extension through 2027Interview: Virtual roundJob Summary:Publicis Sapient is seeking a hands-on Integration Engineer to design, build, test, deploy, and support modern integration solutions for enterprise clients.You will work closely with client stakeholders, architects, product teams, and engineering teams to deliver API-led, microservices-based integration solutions across cloud and enterprise environments. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with AWS, API Gateway technologies, Java/Spring Boot, REST APIs, integration patterns, CI/CD, and production support. This is a delivery-focused engineering role requiring strong technical execution, problem-solving, and client collaboration skills.Key Responsibilities:Design and implement integration solutions using microservices architecture and API-led integration patterns.Build, deploy, test, troubleshoot, and support integration services across AWS and enterprise environments.Design, configure, secure, and support APIs using enterprise API Gateway technologies.Develop REST-based services using Java/Spring Boot and/or Node.JS.Apply integration best practices including service orchestration, API security, error handling, logging, resiliency, and performance optimization.Participate in discovery sessions and translate business and technical requirements into scalable integration solutions.Collaborate with architects and engineering teams to ensure solutions align with enterprise standards and client objectives.Develop reusable code, templates, accelerators, and engineering patterns to improve delivery efficiency and quality.Implement unit and integration testing and support continuous integration and deployment practices.Configure monitoring and troubleshoot integration platforms, APIs, and cloud services in production.Contribute to architecture, provisioning, production readiness, estimation, planning, and technical solutioning.Support technical documentation, knowledge sharing, solution proposals, and RFP activities when required.Required Skills & Experience:Hands-on experience designing and implementing integration solutions using microservices and API-led architecture.Strong practical experience with AWS for building, deploying, or supporting cloud-based integration solutions.Hands-on experience with enterprise API Gateway technologies, including API design, configuration, security, and support.Strong experience with REST API design and implementation.Hands-on Java development experience, with the ability to build, deploy, troubleshoot, and support Java-based integration components.Experience with Spring Boot and/or Node.jsStrong understanding of integration patterns, including.Service orchestrationAPI securityError handlingLoggingResiliencyPerformance and scalabilityExperience with scripting technologies such as JavaScript.Experience with unit testing and integration testing.Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices.Hands-on experience with monitoring, troubleshooting, and production support for APIs and integration platforms.Strong communication and collaboration skills with clients, architects, product teams, and engineering teams.
