Material HandlerPosition Type: Temp-to-HireLocation: On-site - Carrollton TXShift: 5Am-2pm (OT as needed)Pay Rate: $16.50 hrThe Material Handler measures, weighs, and verifies raw ingredients and components per batch card instructions to support daily production.Key ResponsibilitiesWeigh & Verify: Accurately measure raw materials using balance, platform, or floor scales per batch specifications.Labeling & Tracking: Tag all pre-weighed items with required batch info and maintain accurate inventory logs.Material Handling: Move materials to production using hand-trucks or forklifts; dump ingredients into blenders/hoppers in required sequences.Compliance & Safety: Maintain a spotless workspace while strictly following cGMP guidelines and SOPs.QualificationsExperience: 23 years of Pre-Weigh/Compounding experience in nutrition or personal care manufacturing (Required).Education: High School Diploma or GED.Math & Conversion: Strong basic math skills (addition, subtraction, percentages) and scale conversion abilities.Physical & Equipment: Valid Driver's License; ability to operate/certify on a forklift and regularly lift up to 50 lbs.Environment: Comfortable around dust, ingredient allergens, and gluten.Bonus: Computer literacy and ERP software experience (Deacom is a plus).Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $16.50 - $16.50
