This is an excellent opportunity to lead a dedicated inpatient rehabilitation team in a recently remodeled 14-bed rehab unit within a respected hospital system.Assignment Details:Facility: OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital – 14-bed inpatient rehabilitation unitSupport: Full-time internal medicine team handles medical management; the PM&R Medical Director manages weeknight and weekend rehab-related call onlyEMR: EPICAverage Census: Approximately 12 patientsSchedule & Coverage:Monday through Friday rounding, 8-hour shiftsCall coverage limited to rehab-specific needsWeeknight and weekend call responsibilities are compensated separatelyCompensation:$2,000 per 8-hour weekday$300 per hour for overtime beyond 8 hours$400 per night for call coverage, plus overtime if called inJob Responsibilities:Serve as Medical Director for the inpatient rehabilitation unit, supporting care delivery and quality outcomesConduct daily patient rounding and coordinate with therapy, nursing, and case management teamsEnsure compliance with CMS and facility guidelinesDocument evaluations, progress notes, and discharge planning in EPICParticipate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to care planningProvide weeknight and weekend rehab-specific call coverage as scheduledWorking Hours:8-hour weekday shifts (typically 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM)Monday through Friday roundingWeeknight and weekend pager call coverage may be scheduledAdditional compensation provided for overtime and call-backSkills:Experience in inpatient rehabilitation and team-based care coordinationStrong clinical documentation and regulatory compliance knowledgeComfortable managing an average daily census of 12 patientsAbility to lead and support interdisciplinary teamsProficiency with EPIC or other EMRsBoard Certification (or Eligibility) in PM&RActive OH license preferred (IMLC candidates welcome; license reimbursement available upon shift completion)About U.S. Physiatry:U.S. Physiatry is the nation's largest independent physician-led PM&R group.
