Title: Social Media ManagerReports to: Director, Brand & ContentPrimary Location: New York Metropolitan Area (hybrid)Position SummaryWe’re hiring a Social Media Manager who operates as both a strategist and builder, someone who sees social not just as a content channel, but as a driver of growth, brand presence, and personality, serving as the first touchpoint in the customer journey.In this role, you’ll help shape how HALO shows up across platforms and in culture, operationalizing a scalable social model that drives brand consistency, performance, and growth into a cohesive, high-impact engine.In close partnership with the Director of Brand & Content, you’ll help define how HALO shows up in-feed, owning the connection between content and conversion. You’ll contribute to shaping the role social plays across the customer journey and build repeatable formats, systems, and partnerships that scale what works over time.What You’ll Do: Develop and maintain a social strategy aligned with platform behavior, cultural insight, brand goals, product launches, and marketing campaigns.Own the editorial calendar across primary growth platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.).Establish and evolve content frameworks (pillars, formats, series) designed for consistency, recognition, and compounding performanceBuild and operationalize scalable social systems: connecting content, creators, and distribution into a cohesive growth engineEnsure all social output meets a high bar for brand, storytelling, and performanceSupport influencer and creator strategy and execution in partnership with internal and agency teams, building a strong pipeline across UGC, micro, and mid-tier creatorsIdentify and develop partnership opportunities that expand reach and position HALO within relevant cultural and retail spacesUse performance data and audience insights to inform content decisions, optimize strategy, and scale what worksPartner cross-functionally to ensure social is integrated into broader marketing initiatives and fuels paid, eCommerce, and retail growthManage and develop a small social team, providing clear direction, feedback, and support to elevate output, efficiency, and individual growthWhat We’re Looking ForEducation: Bachelor's degree in marketing or related fieldExperience:A seasoned social media/content marketer with 5-7 years’ experience, ideally within baby, parenting, lifestyle, or consumer brands.Able to both strategize and execute, comfortable jumping in to produce, edit, and post content.Deeply knowledgeable about social platforms, creator ecosystems, and algorithm trends.A strong creative thinker with excellent instincts for brand voice, storytelling, and visual execution.Systems-oriented mindset, able to build frameworks, not just execute one-off ideasAbility to balance independent thinking with collaboration and feedbackResourceful and excited to operate in a scrappy, test-and-learn environmentBased in the NYC tri-state area; remote first with in-office 1x week minimumExperience managing or mentoring team membersExperience with Sprout Social, LTK or ShopMy, Monday.com a plusAccountability: Problem solver with a high degree of integrity, a passion for delivering quality work Creativity: Demonstrated curiosity and initiative to learn new systems and processesCollaboration: works with “win together” mentality with cross-functional partners, communicates clearly and proactively asks questions when neededNimbleness: Self-starter with the ability to multi-task, operate with flexibility, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Boldness: Operates with a growth mindsetHalo Dream, Inc. provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.Salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of our compensation package, which also includes a comprehensive set of benefits and incentives. The base salary hiring range for this position is $105,000 - $115,000, but the final compensation offer will ultimately be based on the candidate's location, skill level and experience.
