Position Summary:
The Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing strategic marketing initiatives to strengthen the company’s brand presence, generate qualified leads, and support sales growth in the industrial packaging sector. This role combines traditional marketing expertise with proficiency in digital marketing and trade show management. The ideal candidate will have experience in B2B industrial markets and a results-driven approach to marketing strategy and execution.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Digital Marketing
Develop and manage the company’s digital marketing strategy, including website updates, SEO, SEM, social media, and email marketing campaigns.
Oversee the creation of engaging digital content such as blog posts, case studies, videos, and product highlights tailored for industrial audiences.
Analyze digital performance metrics (Google Analytics, CRM data, etc.) to measure ROI and continuously improve digital efforts.
Manage digital advertising budgets and work with external vendors or agencies when necessary.
2. Trade Show & Event Management
Plan, coordinate, and execute all aspects of trade show participation, including booth design, logistics, promotional materials, and post-show follow-up.
Develop pre- and post-show marketing campaigns to maximize visibility, lead generation, and conversion.
Represent the company at industry events and coordinate participation with the sales team.
3. Brand Management & Marketing Collateral
Maintain and strengthen company branding across all marketing channels and materials.
Oversee the design and production of brochures, product sheets, presentations, advertising, and signage.
Ensure brand consistency in messaging, tone, and visual identity.
4. Market Research & Strategy
Conduct market and competitor research to identify trends, opportunities, and customer needs.
Support sales with targeted campaigns addressing key industries, technical products, machinery or applications.
Contribute to annual marketing plans and budget development.
5. Sales Support & Collaboration
Work closely with the sales team to align marketing activities with business development goals.
Develop lead nurturing strategies and track conversion rates.
Provide marketing materials and support for customer presentations and proposals.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (MBA a plus).
5+ years of marketing experience, preferably in an industrial, manufacturing, or B2B environment.
Proven experience in digital marketing, website management, and content creation.
Strong organizational and project management skills, with experience managing trade shows or large-scale events.
Proficiency in marketing automation platforms, Google Analytics, and CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
Excellent communication, writing, and interpersonal skills.
Creative thinker with analytical and strategic problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Attributes:
Experience in the packaging, logistics, or materials handling industry.
Familiarity with technical products and industrial sales processes.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
