You'll work as part of a small team under the direction of a crew leader or owner, performing a variety of hands-on tasks to maintain and enhance outdoor spaces.Key responsibilities include: Mowing, edging, trimming, and blowing lawns and hardscapes to professional standards Pruning shrubs, hedges, and small trees; weeding flower beds and mulch areas Applying fertilizer, weed control, and other lawn treatments (training provided where needed) Loading/unloading equipment and materials; maintaining clean job sites Operating and basic maintenance of power equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers, edgers, etc.) Performing seasonal work such as spring/fall cleanups, leaf removal, mulching, and aeration Driving company vehicles/trailers to job sites safely and responsibly Providing friendly, professional service and communicating clearly with clients when needed This is a hands-on, outdoor role that requires physical stamina and a strong work ethic. We move quickly between properties and take pride in completing jobs efficiently while maintaining top quality.Qualifications:Required:Reliable transportation to get to our shop/yard each morning Valid driver's license and clean driving record (company vehicles provided on the job) Ability to perform physically demanding work outdoors in all weather conditions (heat, cold, rain) Strong attention to detail and commitment to doing the job right the first time Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to work as part of a team At least 1 year of experience in lawn care, landscaping, grounds maintenance, or similar manual labor (or strong willingness to learn quickly) Preferred(but not required – we train the right people):Experience operating lawn mowers, string trimmers, leaf blowers, hedge trimmers, and other landscaping equipment Knowledge of basic lawn care practices (mowing patterns, edging techniques, weed identification, etc.) Experience with fertilization, weed control applications, or basic plant care Comfortable using hand tools (rakes, shovels, pruners, etc.) Previous customer-facing experience (helpful for client interactions) What We Offer:Competitive hourly pay with opportunities for raises based on performance and reliability Overtime during busy seasons Tools, equipment, and vehicles provided Paid training and potential for certifications (e.g., pesticide applicator if interested) Opportunity for year-round work and advancement (e.g., to crew leader roles) Respectful, no-drama team environment How to Apply: Text or call (256)591-0201 with your name, a quick note about your experience, and your availability.
