Computer Systems Engineer

POSTING DATE: 03/12/2019 STATUS: CLOSED WORK SITE: 4900 Hopyard Road Suite 100 Pleasanton CA 94588. May work at various unanticipated locations throughout the US, relocation may be required. JOB DESCRIPTION: Designing, developing, maintaining, and reviewing software application innovation, growth, and new development for fully integrated and automated on-demand molecular diagnostic systems. Managing software ranging from enterprise-critical to high volume transactional applications using various high valued technologies Working closely with product and design teams to deliver software products. Architecting, designing, delivering principles and making apps work intuitively. Building automated tests for all software changes made using the JUnit or TestNG framework. Developing new Prototypes and redesigning features. Developing persistence layers using ORM frameworks like ORMlite or Hibernate. Understanding large and complex code cases, including API design techniques to help them clean and maintainable. . EXPERIENCE/ QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or closely related field of study and preferably two to four year of relevant experience or a related field of study required. Minimum 2-4 years related experience. Detail orientated with excellent time management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
