Job DescriptionDescriptionCPH is a multi-disciplined Engineering and Architectural design firm that ranks in the nation’s Top 500 Design Firms by ENR Magazine.\nCPH has an opening for the following position: Project Engineer - Water/Wastewater with 5 to 7 years of experience.Hiring Bonus of up to $5000 for selected candidate!\nThe Project Engineer - Water/Wastewater is responsible for leading the design, development, and the implementation of engineering projects. This role provides innovative solutions to solve any problems, and it requires the design skills, time management and experience to perform on a variety of Water/Wastewater and general public facility. The Project Engineer has a strong understanding of engineering principles to deliver high quality standards to CPH clients.\nDuties/Responsibilities:\nLead the design, development, and implementation of engineering solutions for projects. \nCreate and review detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation. \nMonitor progress of projects and make adjustments as needed to ensure proper completion.\nLeading design and preparation of plans, specifications, and calculations for pipeline, lift station, and Water/Wastewater treatment, system components. \nWork with senior staff to identify potential project risks and develop modification strategies if needed. \nEnsures that all aspects of the project’s safety comply with regulations and quality standards.\nPrepares and maintain project documentation, including reports, design changes, schedules, and status updates. \nCommunicate project status, risks, and issues to upper managements and clients. \nRequirements/Abilities:\nProficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook and familiarity with Deltek Vision and Smartsheet or similar software’s platforms.\nAutoCAD experience is a plus.\nAbility to exercise critical thinking and good independent judgement. \nAbility to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team. \nExcellent interpersonal and communication skills. \nAbility to effectively multi-task and work on multiple projects while adhering to project schedules and budgets.\nFlexibility in work schedule to accommodate project deadlines.\nDetail oriented, quality conscious, reliable and self-motivated.\nEducation and Experience: \nBachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil or Environmental). \n5-7 years of experience in a similar role. \nStrong knowledge of engineering principles, in one or more of the following: pipeline, lift station, Water/Wastewater treatment design. \nP.E. required.\nCompensation & Benefits:\nDependent upon experience.\nCPH offers Medical, Dental and Vision and Long-Term Disability with a quality insurance company.\nCompany Paid Life Insurance and Short-Term Disability.\n401K, Paid Personal Time Off, Paid Holidays, and Paid Paternal Leave.\nCPH is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action/Drug Free Work Environment Employer.About CPHCPH is a multi-disciplined design firm that’s growing quickly across the country.  Our diverse team of almost 400 individuals are the heartbeat of our company and the reason for our success.  The unique contributions that people bring to our firm sets us apart and allows us to bring exceptional service to the communities and clients we serve.   At CPH, we offer small company culture with a big company presence.
