JOB REQUIREMENTS: HR Assistant\'s job entails providing assistance withthe administration of day-to-day operations of the human resourcesfunctions and duties, ensuring the efficient delivery of salarypayments, salary adjustments, recruitment processes, benefitsadministration, and the accuracy of employee data records. HR Assistantworks closely with the human resources department, finance and accountsdepartment and other departments throughout the organization providing acustomer focused and effective HR support service to the organization toachieve the organizational goals and objectives. Duties andResponsibilities Preparing and posting job advertisements, screeningapplications, arranging interviews, participating in selection process,and administering pre-employment tests as required. Providing generaladministrative support such as preparing correspondence, forms andreports, arranging meetings, composing regular correspondence,processing confidential reports and documents, filing electronic andhard copy, tracking deadlines, and taking down minutes as needed.Preparing source documentation needed for new hires, or effectivechanges in pay, status, or benefits. Establishing, maintaining andcontrolling personnel, employees, recruitment relations records, files,correspondence, reports, and organization charts. Managing sensitive andconfidential matters like personnel relations, employee relations, andorganizational changes, planning and protecting the security ofinformation, data and files. Responding to and putting through variousqueries from managers and employees, and from other agencies ordepartments. Exercising individual judgment while dealing with potentialor real troubles on own initiative and bringing them to manager\'sattention Interpreting, assisting and advising employees and managersregarding cooperative agreement applications, leave management andbenefit administration, and HR procedures and policies within thespecified guidelines. Conducting research, gathering data andstatistical reports, and maintaining statistical information.Coordinating in volunteer and staff training events or programs andrecommending resources, as needed. Keeping up current issues and mattersin the organization related to HR department. Administering andmonitoring new hire orientation programs.
