Office Assistant
Job Overview:
Tri-North Builders is on the hunt for a full-time office assistant that can keep our company headquarters running smoothly! This role will work in a fast-paced environment with daily variety while providing invaluable support to our different departments. The ideal candidate will be a highly organized, self-motivated individual with experience in general office administration duties.
Responsibilities Include:
Answering multi-line phone system and directing calls appropriately
General office and clerical duties
Typing, editing, and proofing documents
Retrieving and sorting mail
Assistance with sending packages and other mail items
Stocking conference rooms, and general conference room maintenance
Keeping multiple office areas stocked and organized
Ordering supplies
Errands as needed
Greet visitors
Coordinate all documents and communication as requested by departments
Coordinate meetings, document meeting discussions, provide appropriate follow-up
Tracking and updating spreadsheets
Ideal Candidate:
A successful office assistant will be willing to take ownership of the tasks assigned to them and successfully implement those tasks, taking pride in maintaining the general organization of the entire office space. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and be professional in dealings with subcontractors, owners, and all other employees, in addition to possessing strong writing, typing and grammar skills. Microsoft Office Suite proficiency and problem-solving skills are expected. The candidate we’re looking for should be creative, resourceful, and have a precise attention to detail.
