Working with us, you can be innovative, grow, perform at your best and be proud of what we achieve as a company.MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:Supervise daily production activities to ensure targets for safety, quality, and efficiency are consistently metLead, coach, and develop a team of production operators, fostering a positive and accountable work environmentMonitor workflow, staffing levels, and machine utilization to optimize productivity and minimize downtimeEnforce compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policiesConduct regular safety meetings, audits, and incident investigations; implement corrective actionsCoordinate with maintenance, quality, and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations and timely issue resolutionAnalyze production data and KPIs (e.g., OEE, scrap rates, throughput) to identify improvement opportunitiesImplement and support continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma practicesEnsure product quality standards are maintained through adherence to SOPs and quality control processesTrain new employees and provide ongoing performance feedback and evaluationsManage shift schedules, attendance, and labor allocation to meet production demandsTroubleshoot operational issues and escalate critical problems when necessaryMaintain accurate production records, reports, and documentationSupport inventory control and material flow to prevent shortages or overstock situationsDrive cost reduction efforts while maintaining operational excellenceOther duties as assigned.RequirementsPOSITION REQUIREMENTS:High school diploma required; post-secondary education in manufacturing, engineering, or related field preferred37+ years of experience in manufacturing or production environment2+ years of supervisory or team lead experience in a production settingStrong knowledge of manufacturing processes, production flow, and equipment operationsFamiliarity with Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, or Six Sigma principles is an assetExperience working with production KPIs (OEE, throughput, scrap reduction, downtime tracking)Strong leadership skills with ability to coach, motivate, and manage diverse teamsExcellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities in fast-paced environmentsKnowledge of workplace safety regulations (e.g., OSHA or equivalent local standards)Ability to read and interpret production schedules, technical documents, and SOPsStrong communication skills (verbal and written)Basic computer skills; experience with ERP or MES systems is an assetAbility to work rotating shifts, weekends, or extended hours as requiredStrong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple prioritiesDemonstrated commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvementAbility to respond quickly to production issues and operational emergenciesIf you have the above-mentioned qualifications and are interested in this position, please send your resume (mentioning the job title) to Jennifer.schonholzer@rangerdesign.comWe thank all applicants for their interest, but only those selected for an interview will be contacted.Candidates for this position must be legally entitled to work in the United States, hold a valid Passport and will be required to show proof as such.
