Bartender – Ha Long Bay/Little Palace: The Role… Job Duties: · Preparing and serving a variety of tiki-style cocktails and classic cocktails to bar patrons and tables. · Taking and recording food orders and providing full dining service to bar patrons. · Providing a welcoming and entertaining experience to bar patrons. · Fulfilling drink requests which fall outside the general scope of our menu. · Properly handling food and drink to ensure meeting of health and safety standards. · Maintaining a clean and well-organized bar to ensure efficiency in preparation as well as quality guest experience. · Maintaining bar inventory to ensure availability of all drink menu items. · Knowledge of the drink and food menu to meet guest requests and properly identify menu items. · Proper handling and organization of cash and cards in transactions. What we are looking for in a Bartender: · Efficient and accurate communication with servers, bussers, hosts, kitchen staff, and management. · Friendly and personable during all points of guest interaction. · Reliability and responsiveness to workplace communications. · Ability to remain calm and perform within the stressful environment of a bustling restaurant. · Usage of organizational systems to multitask and ensure prompt and proper service. · Must be able to take direction from management in order to properly adapt to the role. · Prior experience in restaurant service required. · Prior experience behind the bar preferred.
