Job Title: Java OpenShift developerLocation: Charlotte, NCWork Arrangement: HybridClient Industry: BankingDuration:12-18 Months (Possibility of Full-Time Conversion) About the Role:We are looking for a strong Java OpenShift Developer with hands-on experience in building scalable microservices and deploying applications on Red Hat OpenShift/Kubernetes environments. The ideal candidate should have deep backend development expertise using Java and Spring Boot along with strong cloud-native development experience. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain Java-based backend applications using Spring BootBuild and deploy microservices on Red Hat OpenShift/Kubernetes platformsWork with Docker containers and manage containerized deploymentsDevelop and enhance REST APIs for enterprise applicationsCollaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline implementations using Jenkins/GitHub ActionsMonitor application performance and troubleshoot production issuesParticipate in code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization activitiesWork closely with cross-functional teams including QA, Architects, and Business teamsSupport cloud/hybrid infrastructure deployments and environment configurationsFollow Agile/Scrum methodologies for sprint planning and delivery What We’re Looking For:Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring BootSolid experience with Red Hat OpenShift and KubernetesExperience with Docker and containerized applicationsStrong understanding of Microservices ArchitectureExperience building and consuming REST APIsHands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitHub ActionsExperience working in cloud or hybrid environmentsStrong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skillsCompensation:Hourly Rate: $60 - $65 per hourThis range reflects base compensation and may vary based on location, market conditions, experience, and candidate qualifications.
