This is a fully remote opportunity, ideally aligned to Eastern or Central time, for an experienced accounting professional to take ownership of the entire financial close, reporting, and infrastructure across a growing multi-entity platform.The company is consolidating fragmented service businesses across the country, with its first acquisition closing soon and a strong pipeline behind it. The right person is a builder who can shape systems, processes, and reporting from the ground up, own the technical accounting on every deal, and partner directly with the CEO on growth. This is a strong fit for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-variety environment with a real growth story and a clear path to grow with the platform.ResponsibilitiesOwn the monthly, quarterly, and annual close across all entities, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery every cycleLead the transition of acquired companies from cash basis to accrual and GAAP reporting post-closeEvaluate, select, and implement a company-wide ERP across all partner companies, replacing legacy systemsManage technical accounting for acquisitions, including purchase price allocations, goodwill, and intercompany eliminationsProduce consolidated financial reporting, variance analysis, and KPI dashboards for ownership and PE sponsorsOversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, cash flow, and working capital across the platformEstablish the chart of accounts, internal controls, and accounting policies across all entitiesSupport acquisition due diligence, integration, and financial normalization as the platform continues to growRequirements7+ years of progressive accounting experienceComfortable consolidating financials across multiple legal entities and locationsExperience with technical accounting for acquisitions (ASC 805, 350, 842, 606) is a strong plusStrong working knowledge of ERP systems and the ability to lead a selection or implementationMindset for process improvement, efficiency, and automation, not maintaining the status quoPrior experience in a private equity backed, search fund, or operator-led environment is a plusSelf-starter who thrives in a lean, fully remote setup with direct access to ownershipPlease give Brandon Clark a "follow" on LinkedIn.Connexa does not advertise all of their positions publicly on LinkedIn.
