Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated State Inspector/ Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in diagnosing and repairing various automotive systems. This role requires a commitment to delivering high-quality service and ensuring customer satisfaction while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Duties
Test drive and perform automotive diagnostics to identify issues with vehicles, focusing on powertrain, electrical systems, and overall vehicle performance.
Conduct repairs and maintenance on vehicles, ensuring adherence to manufacturer specifications.
Utilize power tools and equipment safely and effectively for various repair tasks.
Align wheels, replace tires. and all levels of general repair
Perform state inspections
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs while maintaining high standards of quality.
Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques through ongoing training and professional development.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a mechanic or automotive technician with a strong understanding of mechanical systems.
Proficiency in automotive diagnostics, including the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
Familiarity with all vehicles is preferred but not mandatory; experience with other makes is also valuable.
Knowledge of automotive electrical systems and the ability to perform related repairs.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
