Industrial Maintenance Technician

We are looking for an experienced industrial machinery technician to install, repair, and maintain manufacturing machinery and equipment. This position is a direct hire with the manufacturer. A $3,000 relocation bonus is available for qualifying new employees to relocate to Clarksville, TN. Candidates with prior experience with industrial machinery, factory machinery, or industrial service and maintenance, including industrial mechanics, machinists, and millwrights, are encouraged to apply. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is required. Job Duties: Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance duties, including preventative maintenance, routine inspections, troubleshooting, electrical and mechanical system repair, hydraulic and pneumatic system repair, welding, and fabrication. Participate in and support continuous improvement programs to include 5S Develop and maintain a partnership approach to operations, quality, and environmental health and safety (EHS) Maintain knowledge of the machines and remain up-to-date on predictive and preventive maintenance guidelines Diagnose and repair problems with existing equipment and machinery Install, troubleshoot, and maintain all manners of electrical components Use of computer systems to perform diagnostics on electrical components and programmable logic controller (PLC) systems Perform work from blueprints, schematics, sketches, or specifications Inspect, clean, replace, and repair machines, motors, and other electrical components Maintain wiring systems; bend conduit and replace old wiring Replace guards, covers, and close control cabinets after work is completed Perform welding and fabrication as required This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your skills will be valued.
