This role will lead core accounting operations, oversee a small team, and play a key role in financial reporting, process improvement, and organizational initiatives. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys both leadership and hands-on accounting in a purpose-driven environment.Title: Senior Accountant (Supervisor)Location: Denver, COSalary: $80,000–$100,000 annually (based on experience)What You’ll Do:Lead day-to-day accounting activities, including general ledger management, reconciliations, AP oversight, and revenue tracking Oversee the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and strong variance analysis Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback Prepare and support financial reporting for leadership, including monthly and annual statements Assist with audit readiness, compliance, and strengthening internal controls Partner on process improvements, system enhancements, and automation initiatives Support financial systems and ERP transitions, ensuring alignment with business needsWhat We’re Looking For:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls Experience managing the month-end close and supporting audits Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with accounting systems/ERPs Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skillsPerks & Benefits:Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage Generous PTO, holidays, and additional personal days 401(k) with company match Employer-paid life and disability coverage Tuition reimbursement and family support benefits Flexible spending and health savings accountsAbout Innovar GroupInnovar Group is comprised of senior talent agents who deliver top recruitment services to clients throughout the United States.
