NDT Level III - Penetrant Testing (PT) Job Locations US-CA-Rancho Dominguez ID 2026-18705OverviewElement Materials Technology - Rancho Dominguez is seeking an experienced NDT Level III to lead and oversee testing programs supporting aerospace manufacturing and inspection operations.The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical knowledge, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work flexibly to support operational and customer needs.Salary: $80,000 - $105,000/yr DOE ResponsibilitiesDevelop, review, and approve NDT procedures, techniques, and work instructions.Maintain and administer the company NDT Written PracticeTrain, examine, and certify Level I and Level II NDT personnel in accordance with NAS 410Administer written, practical, and vision examinationsMaintain certification and training recordsProvide technical guidance and oversight for penetrant inspection activitiesEvaluate inspection techniques for aerospace components and assembliesSupport troubleshooting and resolution of inspection issuesIdentify opportunities to improve inspection processes and technologiesSupport Lean and continuous improvement initiativesSkills / QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED requiredAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, or related technical field preferredCertified NDT Level III in accordance with NAS 410 or ASNT SNT-TC-1A (required)ASNT Level III certification preferredMinimum 5+ years of NDT experience, preferably in aerospace manufacturing or maintenance. 10+ years functioning as a Level III preferredExperience working within AS9100-certified environmentsDemonstrated experience supporting aerospace OEM or prime contractor programCompany OverviewElement is one of the fastest growing testing, inspection and certification businesses in the world.
