Office Assistant (Korean Bilingual)
Job Summary
The Office Assistant provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources, Finance, and Admin functions at GST America. This role supports accurate recordkeeping, efficient internal operations, and timely processing of HR and financial documentation, while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
Visa sponsorship may be available for qualified candidates.
Work Schedule
Days: Monday to Friday
Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (flexible start/end time within specific range)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay Rate: $24.00
Responsibilities:
Human Resources Support
Assist with recruitment and hiring activities, including job postings, interview scheduling, and preparation of onboarding materials
Maintain accurate employee personnel files and HR records in both electronic and physical formats
Provide entry-level HR support and serve as a backup during HR absences
Help prepare HR reports, internal communications, and documentation as needed
Assist in planning and coordinating employee engagement activities, company-wide events, and internal meetings
Ensure compliance with company policies, labor laws, and internal procedures
Finance Support
Perform data entry and maintenance in finance reports
Support budget tracking, expense monitoring, and internal financial reporting
Maintain organized and accurate financial records and filing systems
Administrative & Office Support
Provide general administrative support, including filing, data entry, scheduling, and document management
Coordinate and respond to incoming phone calls and emails in a professional and timely manner
Assist with internal audits, reviews, and documentation requests as needed
Perform additional administrative duties as assigned
Assist with travel bookings (hotel, car, flight) for management
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s in Business Administration, Human Resources, Finance, or a related field preferred
0-1 years of administrative experience, preferably in an HR or Finance support role
Strong organizational and time-management skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Bilingual (English / Korean) required
