Helicopter Mechanic (Float) FULL-TIME Remote Opportunity in CAStarting Salary: $81,549- $118,209 annually (including 25% geo modifier)Float Stipend 12,500IA Stipend 2,080Sign-On Bonus 12,500 Float Mechanics are traveling mechanics and do not need to reside in the state of California.We're hiring anAircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) floatresponsible for the overall maintenance and safety of our fleet across multiple locations within the Company footprint. This technician will be qualified to support our AS350, EC135 airframes. This is a key role to ensure our team can safely maintain and deliver timely and high-quality transportation services, care and customer service to patients.ResponsibilitiesAircraft Maintenance Technician will perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, screening, repairs and provide regular statuses to the Lead Technician.Manage inventory checks to ensure stock of supplies and equipment, regularly update the equipment tracking log, place replacement requests when necessary and document part expenditures.Clearly document service paperwork and FAA information as required and adhere to policies and procedures while complying with the company's information security standards.Take pride in sustaining a safe and clean working environment for the aircraft maintenance team and flight crew.Use appropriate communication methods to help facilitate coordination of efforts between departments, vendors and team members.Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow AMTs and operations team.Minimum Required QualificationsThree (3) years turbine powered helicopter experienceValid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) licenseValid State issued Driver's licenseHigh School diploma or GED equivalentFederal Aviation Regulations knowledgeEMS Systems, Aircraft maintenance systems, records and maintenance support and planningAbility to work aflexible scheduleincluding overtime and 24/7 on-call rotations.Must be acceptable in accordance with the FAA drug and alcohol testing program.Must be able to push and/or pull 100+ lbs.Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs.Preferred QualificationsAS350, EC135 maintenance experienceFAA Inspection Authorization CertificateRelated experience under CFR Parts 133, 135 and 145Autopilot maintenance experienceAvionics and electrical repair experienceWhy ChooseREACH?As aqualityair medical transport service,REACHis one ofGlobal Medical Response's(GMR) family of solutions.
