They will work collaboratively with our Primary Care and specialty providers utilizing a hybrid work schedule from both home and office. The chosen candidate will work closely with our highly trained staff of Cognitive Behavioral Therapists, Clinical Social Workers, Nurse Care Managers and Psychiatry Staff to manage patient psychiatric conditions, provide psychiatric consultations, and help grow Summit Health's Westmed Medical Group psychiatry programs.ResponsibilitiesProviding direct patient care, including psychiatric assessment and medication management to pediatric patients in the Behavioral Health DeptPsychiatric consultations to primary care providersEducating physicians and nursing staff on psychiatric disorders and medication management within the primary care settingDeveloping psychiatry services and programs to meet the needs of Summit Health's Westmed Medical Group patients and providersWestchester County, located in the heart of the historic Hudson Valley, is just north of NYC.
