Procurement & Vendor Relations Manager

MERE USA is looking for a Procurement and Vendor Relations Manager in the Kansas City area.The main responsibility of this position is to find new suppliers for MERE USA stores and negotiate cooperation terms based on the company’s business model.Responsibilities:Search for and contact new suppliers of food, beverages, household goods, and other retail products.Present MERE USA’s business model and purchasing terms to potential suppliers.Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery terms, returns, and product assortment.Work to secure company-preferred terms, including payment based on sales, return of unsold goods, and delivery to store locations.Request and review price lists, product specifications, invoices, certificates, and other required documents.Compare supplier offers based on pricing, margin, delivery terms, and cooperation conditions.Maintain regular communication with suppliers and follow up on open opportunities.Work with management and store teams regarding assortment, product availability, and deliveries.Qualifications:Experience in purchasing, sales, vendor relations, retail, grocery, wholesale, or distribution is preferred.Strong negotiation and communication skills.Comfortable contacting suppliers by phone and email.Basic computer skills, including email, Excel, or Google Sheets.Self-motivated, organized, responsible, and result-oriented.Ability to search for new suppliers independently and follow up consistently.Job Type:Office-based / Kansas City areaOpportunity to grow with the expansion of MERE USA.
