Because at UKG, your work matters—and so do you.About The TeamThe Enterprise Solutions and Experience team is seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with strong expertise in test automation and Salesforce platform testing to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks, validating Salesforce implementations, and ensuring high-quality software delivery across Salesforce and integrated enterprise applications. You will collaborate with a highly skilled and diverse group of individuals across the company and around the globe to address our top customer needs.About The RoleThe candidate should have hands-on experience in automation testing using tools such as Provar, Selenium, Playwright, or similar frameworks, along with strong knowledge of Salesforce platforms including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Lightning Experience, Apex, Flows, and integrations. You will work closely with developers, product teams, and Salesforce administrators to design automated tests, validate business processes, and support high-quality releases.Key ResponsibilitiesTest Automation Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks and test scripts. Implement UI, API, integration, and regression test automation. Develop automation solutions using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines. Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams for resolution. Improve test coverage, execution efficiency, and reporting mechanisms.Salesforce Testing Validate Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and custom Salesforce applications. Test Salesforce configurations including:ObjectsFlowsValidation RulesApex ClassesTriggersLightning Web Components (LWC)Visualforce Pages Verify Salesforce integrations with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs. Perform data validation and end-to-end business process testing. Support UAT and release validation activities.Quality Engineering Participate in requirement reviews and provide testability feedback. Create detailed test plans, test cases, and test execution reports. Work closely with Product Owners, Developers, Business Analysts, and Salesforce Administrators. Drive quality best practices throughout the SDLC.Required Qualification Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 6+ years of experience in Software Testing and Test Automation. 4+ years of hands-on Salesforce testing experience. Strong knowledge of Salesforce platform architecture and business processes.Experience testing Salesforce Lightning applications.Strong SQL and data validation skills.Salesforce CPQ knowledge Salesforce knowledge & Professional Services domain expertise API automation (REST-assured, Postman) SQL/data validation across PSA & ERP systems Open-source automation frameworks: Selenium, Playwright CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab), programming (Java/Python/JS) Collaborate with functional and technical teams to ensure test coverage and delivery quality Strong understanding of the professional services domain and Salesforce ecosystem Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Jira, Software Test Life Cycle, Bug Life Cycle Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and test orchestrationPreferred Qualifications Salesforce Administrator Certification and/or Salesforce Platform App Builder Certification. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and work location. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible to participate in a performance-based bonus plan and to receive restricted stock unit awards as part of total compensation.
