LV Switchgear Mechanical LeadTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a LV Switchgear Mechanical Lead in Dallas, Texas. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the LV Switchgear Mechanical Lead is responsible for leading a team of employees in completing assigned manufacturing projects related to mechanical assembly of low voltage switchgear components.Shift Schedule: Monday Friday, 6:00 AM 2:30 PMWhat a typical day looks like:Oversee the work of assigned team employeesAddresses minor discipline problems with team members; refers more serious cases to the supervisorAssists with the planning and preparation of training and orientation for new team members in partnership with the training specialist and team trainerCollaborate with team members to discuss upcoming work assignments; delegates assignments based on team members skills and experienceAssists team members with technical issues or advanced problems with given assignmentsInspects work performed by team membersTracks and logs workers time, materials, and other resources used for inventory purposes.Partner with supervisor or production manager to resolve any issues that arise within department.Maintain a clean and safe work areaComplete assemblies and sub-assemblies for manufacturing projects, as neededPerform all other duties as assignedThe experience we're looking to add to our team:High School Diploma or equivalentAt least 4 years of experience in manufacturing, assembly or related fieldPrior experience in effectively leading a team of employeesKnowledge of manufacturing, equipment maintenance, and safety managementReading comprehension skills with the ability to interpret and follow written directions, blueprints, and engineering diagramsBasic math skills to meet technical specifications and measurementsBasic understanding of tools (ex.
