Accounting Manager, Technical Accounting and Financial Reporting

We are partnering with a global, publicly traded company that is strategically strengthening its accounting function. This is not a build, but an opportunity to join a mature, well-resourced team and help refine the processes and technical standards that will support continued international scaling.The Accounting Manager will sit at the center of external reporting and technical accounting within a complex, matrixed, multi-geography organization. You'll have direct visibility into executive-level financial operations and play a key role in the integrity of public financial statements.Responsibilities:Lead preparation and review of SEC filings, including 10-K and 10-QServe as the technical accounting resource — research, document, and advise on complex US GAAP mattersPartner with global business units to ensure consistent application of accounting standardsSupport regulatory reporting, internal controls, and SOX complianceDrive continuous improvement of financial reporting processes as the business scalesRequirements:Active CPA license — required6+ years of progressive experience in public accounting (Big 4 or large regional firm) and/or a move from public accounting into a publicly traded companyHands-on SEC reporting experience — 10-K and 10-Q preparation and reviewDeep knowledge of US GAAP and regulatory reportingExperience in a global, complex, matrixed publicly traded environmentStrong technical accounting instincts and a process-improvement mindsetIf you're a CPA ready to bring public accounting rigor into a high-caliber industry role, or you've already made that transition and want greater scope — we'd love to hear from you!Reach out directly to lh@hoxtoncircle.com or apply below.
