The Transaction Tax Advisory team at Weaver helps private equity, strategic, and founder-owned clients identify potential tax exposures and understand key tax considerations through the entire transaction process.A Transaction Tax Senior Associate will work efficiently to obtain technical tax knowledge to assist clients in a variety of M&A transactions. The candidate will conduct research on applicable laws and write memorandums in an easy-to-understand format.The Candidate should be a team player who exhibits initiative, accepts responsibility, communicates effectively, and manages multiple concurrent assignments of varying sizes and complexity. As this role is transaction focused, the candidate should have a strong work ethic and be a self-starter, and understand that busy-season for transaction-related work is often different from a typical tax busy season.To be successful in this role, the following qualifications are required:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field2+ years in public accountingAdditionally, the following qualifications are preferred:Master's degree in Accounting or JD/LLMExperience conducting tax researchExcellent written communication skillsAt Weaver, our most valuable resource is our people.
