Hi, Please go through below job description and let me know your interest, Job title: Cat Scan Tech Location: Logan, WV (Onsite) Job Type: Full Time Job Description: The Cat Scan Tech operates CT scanners to produce detailed images of patients’ internal structures. They assist radiologists, ensure patient safety, and manage records. The role requires strong critical thinking and the ability to work independently in high-pressure environments. Key Responsibilities: Perform and evaluate CT scans, ensuring safety and accuracy. Position patients, use immobilization/protective equipment. Assist radiologists with imaging, interventional procedures, starting IVs, and administering contrast. Manage clerical tasks, including scheduling and documenting procedures. Maintain accurate patient records and charge documentation. Operate power injections for contrast media. Requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work independently in stressful environments. Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED. Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program is preferred. Registered Radiologic Technologist and Computed Tomographer by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Active West Virginia license by the Board of Examiners of Radiologic Technologists. Basic Life Support (BLS) upon 30 days of hire.
