Job Title: Development Specialist (Fundraising)Location: Phoenix, AZ (Hybrid – Mostly Remote)Duration: May 11, 2026 – November 30, 2026 (Tentative)Hours: Part-time (10 hours/week)Position Overview Seeking an experienced Development Specialist to lead fundraising initiatives in support of its mission: “That All May Read.” This role focuses on building strong relationships with donors, corporations, and grant-making institutions to secure funding and expand outreach for individuals with print disabilities.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and execute comprehensive fundraising strategies and campaignsIdentify, research, and engage new donors and funding sourcesBuild and manage a donor database (tracking contributions, relationships, and engagement)Develop and maintain relationships with high-net-worth individuals, corporations, and foundationsWrite compelling grant proposals, donor communications, and reportsMonitor fundraising performance and adjust strategies based on data insightsOrganize donor engagement activities (events, meetings, tours)Collaborate with leadership and the clients boardEnsure consistent branding and messaging across fundraising initiativesPrepare annual reports, impact stories, and marketing materialsRequired Skills & QualificationsStrong experience in fundraising and donor relationsProven ability to meet or exceed fundraising targetsKnowledge of fundraising strategies and donor engagementUnderstanding of accounting practices for recordkeepingExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong time management and multitasking abilitiesAbility to build and maintain community connections and relationshipsPreferred QualificationsExperience with donor management software (CRM tools)Knowledge of estate planning and tax laws related to charitable givingExperience working with nonprofits or public sector organizationsWork ConditionsMostly remote, with occasional on-site presence requiredFlexible schedule (10 hours/week between 8 AM – 5 PM)Additional RequirementsLocal candidates in Arizona onlyMust be available for in-person interviews within 1 week of posting closureMust be able to start within 2 weeks of offerBackground check via HireRight required
