Join us at Crowe and embark on a career where you can help shape the future of our industry.Job Description:Accounting Consulting Business Development Sales ExecutiveThe Accounting Consulting Business Development Sales Executive is responsible for driving new business development and revenue growth through the sale of accounting consulting, finance transformation, outsourced accounting, and ERP consulting solutions. This individual will focus on developing strategic client relationships, identifying business challenges, and positioning tailored professional services solutions that support clients’ finance and accounting operations.The ideal candidate is a consultative sales professional with experience selling accounting consulting services, managed services, ERP consulting, and/or NetSuite-related solutions. This role requires strong business development skills, executive presence, and the ability to collaborate effectively with leadership and delivery teams to close complex professional services engagements.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & SalesIdentify, qualify, and close new business opportunities related to accounting consulting, finance and accounting managed services, and ERP consulting solutionsDevelop and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients and strategic opportunitiesMeet or exceed revenue and sales performance goalsExecute proactive prospecting strategies through networking, referrals, industry events, and strategic outreachBuild relationships with CFOs, controllers, finance executives, accounting leaders, and ERP/technology decision-makersAttend industry conferences, networking events, and client meetings to expand market presence and generate leadsConsultative Selling & Client EngagementUnderstand client business challenges and align service offerings to support operational and financial objectivesPosition solutions related to accounting consulting, outsourced accounting support, finance transformation, and ERP optimization servicesCollaborate with internal subject matter professionals and delivery teams to develop tailored client solutionsLead client presentations, proposal discussions, and statement of work (SOW) developmentCommunicate business value and return on investment through a consultative sales approachRelationship Management & CollaborationDevelop and maintain long-term client relationships that drive repeat business and expanded engagementsPartner cross-functionally with leadership, marketing, recruiting, and delivery teams to support successful client outcomesMaintain relationships with strategic alliance partners and professional networksProvide market feedback and industry insights to support sales strategy and service developmentSales Strategy & Pipeline ManagementDevelop and execute territory and account-based sales strategiesMonitor market trends, competitive activity, and client demand to identify growth opportunitiesMaintain accurate pipeline forecasts and activity tracking within CRM systemsAnalyze sales performance metrics and identify opportunities for continuous improvementQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred7+ years of experience in business development, consultative sales, or account management within professional services, accounting consulting, ERP consulting, or finance and accounting servicesDemonstrated success developing and closing complex professional services engagementsExperience selling accounting consulting services, managed services, outsourced accounting solutions, and/or ERP consulting services preferredFamiliarity with NetSuite or other ERP platforms strongly preferredStrong executive presence with the ability to influence senior finance and business leadersExcellent verbal, written, presentation, and negotiation skillsStrong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilitiesProficiency with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office applicationsAbility to travel approximately 30%#AccountingConsulting #ClientAdvisoryServices #FinanceAndAccounting #NetSuite #Yhire #GoCroweWe expect the candidate to uphold Crowe’s values of Care, Trust, Courage, and Stewardship. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Crowe, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
