Senior Electrical Engineer

I'm partnering with a well-respected MEP engineering consultancy in Dallas on a confidential search for a Senior Electrical Engineer. This firm has built a strong reputation in the market doing technically complex, multi-discipline work with a heavy focus on mission-critical facilities. They're growing, they're busy, and they need a senior-level engineer who can step in and lead.This is a high-ownership role for someone who wants to be the technical authority on the electrical discipline — not just execute someone else's design, but drive it. If you're the kind of engineer who takes pride in quality, communicates well with clients, and wants to work on projects that actually push you, I'd love to tell you more about this one.Responsibilities:Serve as Lead Engineer on the electrical discipline for assigned projectsCollaborate directly with clients to understand project goals, constraints, and criteria for successDevelop design solutions and guide clients through options and tradeoffsLead the production of design documents including conceptual designs, equipment selections, construction drawings, specifications, and energy modelingCoordinate with mechanical, plumbing, and other disciplines to ensure a complete, code-compliant, and constructable designManage client expectations throughout the design and delivery processCommunicate with colleagues, subconsultants, and vendors to meet project objectives and schedulesRespond to RFIs, review submittals, and conduct site inspections during construction as the Owner's representativeReview designs and calculations produced by others for accuracy and qualityProvide mentorship and technical guidance to less experienced engineers and designersRequirements:6+ years of experience in the MEP industryBachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or higherProfessional Engineering license, or actively on track to obtain oneDemonstrated ability to coordinate across disciplines on multi-discipline projectsStrong communication and client management skillsRevit experience is a plusBenefits:Competitive base salary commensurate with experienceMedical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchPTO and paid holidaysFlexible work arrangementsProfessional development support including PE exam resources and continuing educationMentorship-driven culture with a clear path for growthCollaborative team environment on high-profile, technically challenging projects
