Senior Web Developer (PHP / ProcessWire) *Location:* South Windsor, CT — Hybrid. We're looking for a senior developer who's comfortable owning the decisions behind the code, not just the code itself. You'll be making calls on how our PHP applications and ProcessWire sites are structured, working directly with the client to deliver exceptional work. If you’re a curious, responsible, and reliable lady or lad who loves to build code in comfy clothes, then you’re in the right place! *What You'll Do* * Design and build web applications and CMS-driven sites in PHP, primarily on ProcessWire * Make architectural calls: content models, data structure, API design, how modules and services fit together * Write clean, maintainable PHP and own it end to end, from database schema to front-end template * Review and improve existing systems, not just add to them * Work directly with clients to turn business needs into technical structure *What We're Looking For* * 7+ years of professional PHP development. Please don't apply if this isn't the case. * Someone who loves working on big projects and has the backend skills to build large applications * Comfortable making architectural decisions, and can explain the why behind a structure, not just build it * Solid grasp of MySQL and database schema design * You can explain and defend every decision in your own code. We're not looking for someone who prompts an AI and ships whatever comes back without understanding it * Strong sense of ownership and integrity.
